I am sure by now most of you have heard about the shooting of the Pastor of the church in Maryville, IL. There are no words to express what my heart is feeling right now. Shock-disbelief-grief- none really seem to fit. This church is just blocks from the ABEA office. We knew this pastor and many members of this congregation are our close friends. Our daughter is on the soccer team at this church. As you can imagine our entire community is grieving. Please be in prayer for this church, this pastors wife and two young daughters and the family of the man who committed this act…I can’t imagine how grieved they must feel.
